The reason why I would like to write more blog posts

The past few years I learned a lot, but if you ask me to sum up all the things I learned, I can only name a few. I think it has something to do with the repetitive nature of the things you learn, eventually they become habits and then you don’t know any better.

It’s incredibly difficult to keep your resume up to date, because how do you decide if you're good at something or not. You can either compare your knowledge about something with others or with yourself. Comparing yourself with others is easy. By talking about certain subjects with others (colleagues, community, meetups) you get an image of your knowledge about those subjects.

If you want to know if you learned something or if you’re getter better at something, you need comparative data. By describing what I learn in blog posts, a year from now I can look back to see what I’ve learned. I can scroll through all the blog posts I wrote.

The main reason why I started this blog is for myself. I’m sharing this with the rest of the world, because I think sharing knowledge is a good thing. The focus of my blog posts will be on technical issues or things that have to do with Agile in some way. In the future I will create a Dutch section with blog posts with my thoughts about other subjects.
